June 2010 (Madrasah Al-Islamiah Al-Arabiah)

Our group leader, Edwin Kheng, volunteered in June 2010 to teach JA - It's My Business to a group of Sec 3 Students at Madrasah Al-Islamiah Al-Arabiah, which isa school located next to HSR Building, literally our next door neighbour. The students had a ball of a time playing games and answering quizzes about Entrepreuneurship.

October 2010 (Northlight School)

In October 2010, we also facilitated a JA Program called "JA-More than Money" for a class of students from Northlight School. The students learned about the value of money, making SMART decisions and basic ideas about creating simple business plans.

May 2011 (Pei Chun Public School)

In May 2011, Edwin organised the largest ever volunteer group (54 volunteers) to facilitate the JA Program called "JA-More than Money" for 9 classes of students (about total 360 eager and very active Primary 4 students) from Pei Chun Public School. For most of the volunteers (a lot of them first-timers), interacting and engaging with a class full of energetic kids was really an eye-opening experience.

April 2012 (Pei Chun Public School)

In April 2012, it was another fun time for Edwin to share "JA-More than Money" with the Primary 4 class from Pei Chun. There was definitely lots of laughter and learning together with the eager students.

November 2013 (Madrasah Al-Islamiah Al-Arabiah)

In November 2013, we came back to the secondary 3 class at Madrasah Al-Islamiah Al-Alrabiah. Edwin and fellow realtor Keith shared "JA-Economics for Success" with the students who were happy and relaxed that their year end exams was just over. There was alot of questions and engaging sessions as the boys and girls learnt more about their own interests, skills and values in order to choose their dream jobs. They also understood why budgeting was important and how to wisely use credit and also plan for unforseen financial surprises in life.

October 2014 (SJI Junior)

In October 2014, Edwin had a fun time sharing with the primary 5 boys at SJI Junior on JA - It's My City. The boys also enjoyed the session and took back various useful learning points.
